This Contract is made between You, the person who intends to stay at the relevant Property or Properties named in the Reservation Paperwork for the Wedding or the Stay and Sea House Cornwall Ltd, Company Number 11096316. The Directors are Antonia and David Shields.

These terms and conditions will apply in every case without alteration in respect of your occupation of the relevant Property, unless otherwise agreed in writing beforehand.
The Wedding or the Stay commences at 4pm on the day of arrival and finishes at 10am on the day of departure.
Bedding, Linen and Bath Towels are provided. Electricity, gas, Wi-Fi, cleaning at the end of the Wedding or the Stay and, if you are staying for more than one week, cleaning at the end of your first week are included in the cost of the Wedding or the Stay.
We have the right to refuse bookings of groups of single people under the age of 21 or of all male or female parties where we are concerned that their behaviour might disturb our neighbours.
If at the commencement of the Wedding or the Stay, it appears to us that this condition has been broken, you and your party may be refused access, the booking may be cancelled, any monies paid may be forfeited and any unpaid monies shall remain payable.
The proper law of these terms and conditions is the Law of England and Wales.
Having filled in the Reservation Paperwork, a non refundable Initial Payment of fifty percent of the cost of the Wedding or the Stay, including fifty per cent of the cost of the wedding ceremony fee and any guest attendance fees, if applicable, is needed in order to secure the booking.
Once this payment has been received by us the booking is confirmed and you will be liable to pay the balance of the cost of the Wedding or the Stay.
Payment by you of the Initial Payment is confirmation of your booking and is deemed acceptance of our terms and conditions by you.
Twelve weeks before the start of the Wedding or the Stay you are required pay the Final Payment of fifty percent of the cost of the Wedding or the Stay, including fifty per cent of the cost of the Wedding Ceremony and any Guest Attendance Fees, if applicable, together with the Refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit. The current costs of The Stay and/or holding a Wedding at the Property are set out on our website.
Reservations made within twelve weeks of the start of the Wedding or the Stay
Having filled in the Reservation Paperwork, a non refundable Full Payment of one hundred percent of the cost of the Wedding or the Stay, including fifty per cent of the cost of the wedding ceremony fee and any guest attendance fees, if applicable, and the Refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit are needed in order to secure the booking. The current costs of the Stay and or the Wedding at the Property are set out on our website.
Once this payment has been received by us the booking is confirmed.
Payment by you of the Full Payment is confirmation of your booking and is deemed acceptance of our terms and conditions by you.
The Refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit
The Refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit will be held by us and returned to you within 28 days of the end of the Wedding or the Stay less any deductions necessary in order to pay for any breakages or to repair any damage caused to the relevant property and/or its surroundings during your stay.
If any payments are not received by the relevant due dates, we shall be entitled to treat your booking as cancelled and to retain any monies already paid by you.
Any unpaid monies shall remain due and payable.
Upon receipt of the Initial Payment and the Final Payment or the Full Payment and the Refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit, we will send the full address, the directions and the key code.
The Cancellation Policy
Payment of either the Initial Payment or the Full Payment is confirmation of your booking and is deemed acceptance of our terms and conditions by you.
In the event that you need to cancel a booking, you remain responsible for the total cost of the Wedding or the Stay and we reserve the right to retain the Initial Payment and to charge for the balance of the cost of the entire the Wedding or the Stay.
If we can re let the Property for the dates reserved by you, we will refund you the lesser of the cost of the Wedding or the Stay that has been paid for by you and the amount received by us for the re let of the Property.
We cannot guarantee that it will be possible to re let the Property for the dates reserved by you.
We strongly advise you to ensure that you have adequate insurance in place to cover any unforeseen cancellation.
The Guest Responsibilities
You agree, in relation to the Property which you and your guests are occupying for the purposes of the Wedding or the Stay.
(a) Not to arrive at the Property before 4pm or after 10pm on the day the Wedding or the Stay commences.
(b) To take great care of the Property and of any common parts or accesses to the Property and anything therein or thereon.
(c) To keep the Property in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
(d) To vacate the Property by 10am at the end of the Wedding or the Stay to enable cleaning to take place.
(e) To authorise us to make deductions from the Refundable Good Housekeeping Deposit to pay for all costs of any breakages or to repair any damage caused to the Property and/or its surroundings during your the Wedding or the Stay.
(f) To report to us any disrepair or defect in respect of the Property or the fixtures and fittings and report any failure of mechanical or electrical appliances as soon as they come to your attention.
(g) To allow us and/or our contractors access to the Property at reasonable hours during the Wedding or the Stay, or to carry out urgent and unforeseen repairs or other works to the Property, or to carry out maintenance of the appliances (at least 24 hours notice will normally be given, but you must give immediate access in an emergency).
(h) Only to share the Property with members of the party whose details were given to us in the Reservation Paperwork.
(i) To observe the no smoking policy on the Property.
(j) Not to re-arrange, change or remove any of the Property’s installations, furniture, fixtures and fittings.
(k) Not to bring any dogs or other pets on to the Property.
(l) Not to block the baths, sinks, lavatories, cisterns, drains, gutters, pipes, chimneys and the like.
(m) Not to assign, sublet, charge or part with or share possession or occupation of all or part of the Property.
(n) Not to cause nuisance or annoyance to us, neighbours or any other parties.
(o) Not to change or install any locks on any doors or windows nor have additional keys made for any locks.
(p) To fasten all locks to all doors and windows and activate any burglar alarm whenever the Property is left unattended to prevent unauthorised access to the Property.
If there is any material breach of these conditions including, but not limited to property damage or disturbance, we reserve the right to (a) deny access to the Property for any guests who have not paid the guest attendance fee and/or for any third party suppliers which have not been approved by us in advance, and/or (b) re-enter the Property and terminate the Wedding or the Stay without prejudice to our other rights and remedies.
You confirm that you are a member of the party intending to occupy the Property, you are over twenty one years old, and you are authorised to agree to the terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying at the Property for the Wedding or the Stay and who are named in the Reservation Form.
All Third Party Suppliers will need to be approved by us at least a month in advance of the Wedding or the Stay.
Use of the Property is entirely at your own risk and we do not accept responsibility for loss or damage to any persons who use the Property or to their personal property but nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our own negligence. We are not responsible for providing any service in respect of the Wedding or Stay other than those referred to in these terms and conditions. You are responsible for organising and paying the registrar for the Wedding as well as any third party suppliers you would like to engage for your Wedding. Our website contains details of all the third party suppliers which are recommended by us but please seek our approval prior to engaging any third party suppliers or they may be denied access to the Property.
We have made every reasonable effort to ensure that the information given in relation to the Property is accurate and complete but no liability is accepted for any minor errors in the description on our web site.
If for any reason beyond our control the Property is not available on the dates booked by you (due to fire damage, for example) all monies paid in advance by you will be refunded in full but we shall not have any further liability to you.
We do not store or retain any financial information relating to our Guests.
